A mass formation flypast of Pilatus PC-9/A and PC-21 aircraft, as well as aerobatic displays by the Roulettes, a Harvard aircraft, a CT-4B aircraft, and PC-21 aircraft were completed on Friday 22 February, to mark the final flying activities for PC-9/A aircraft at RAAF East Sale.
The Pilatus PC-9/A aircraft is currently in the process of being replaced by Pilatus PC-21 aircraft under the AIR5428 Pilot Training System project.
The Pilatus PC-21 aircraft and its supporting training systems will modernise RAAF aviation training and strengthen ADF pilot training capability for many years to come.

Personnel and equipment were provided by Navy, Army and Air Force including an aerobatic display by the Roulettes, vintage aircraft displays from Air Force No. 100 Squadron, an EC135 helicopter and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) from the Royal Australian Navy, and various displays and stands from the Australian Army including Protected Mobility Vehicles, an infantry section weapons stand, a mortar display and a HX77 truck.

Pilot Officer (PLTOFF) William Sanders was awarded the Royal Australian Air Force Association (WA Division) trophy as the graduate who has Most Improved throughout course.
PLTOFF Andrew Haes was awarded The Defence Forces Welfare Association Prize for Navigation and the BP (Australia) Ltd Trophy as the graduate with the Highest Aggregate of Academic Marks for Ground School.
PLTOFF Peter Bergin received four awards; the Prize for Instrument Flying Proficiency, the SJ Goble Memorial Trophy for being the Most Proficient Pilot, the Returned Services League Trophy for Leadership and the Pilatus Trophy for being Dux of 256 Advanced Pilot Course.
